EMIO - Model Type S -Aspirating Segmented Unheated Velocity Probes
The segmented, unheated "S" type aspiration velocity probes in the EMIOTEST 3114 dust meter kit allow for sampling dust from the exhaust gas stream from technological processes or technical operations to determine the dust concentration and mass flow rate. The probe consists of a selected probe head connected to the selected segment(s) and a connected aspiration and impulse path distributor. The probe heads incorporate a built-in impingement tube with an S type piezometric sensor system. Each probe head terminates with a tubular aspiration outlet and tubular impulse path outlets. The probe shaft and segment shafts have diameters of 38 mm.
Dust sampling is conducted using the isokinetic aspiration method. The probe, in accordance with the requirements of the PN-Z-04030-1 and PN-EN 13284-1 standards, can be used for both internal and external filtration, complete with a selected aspiration tip and dust separator (FG-xx or FT-50 for internal filtration, FZ-xx or FD-xx for external filtration, manufactured by EMIO).
The entire dust sampling path and the head and segment shafts are made of stainless steel. Only the head and segment connecting elements are made of brass. The element connections are made using hard solders, allowing for use in gas sampling at temperatures up to 800°C.
