Kits and Biologicals
Nasco’s Production facility consists of Educational Kits (including production of custom kits) and Biologicals. It is one of the few facilities in this country capable of shipping living organisms for education and research 52 weeks of the year.

Educational and Custom Kits:

Develops and produces a wide variety of educational kits.
Tens of thousands of individual components used to assemble kits for science, math, family and consumer science, healthcare, and arts & crafts classrooms.
Nasco creates custom kits made to meet the specific needs of individual school systems or an independent publisher’s curriculum.

Research & Development/Proprietary Products
Nasco has been a pioneer in creating hands-on teaching materials for the classroom. Our Research and Development department works continually to discover and develop new products. These Nasco proprietary items include games, reproducible activity books, DVDs, charts, lab books, and teaching kits.

In October of 2012, Nasco plastics quality management system achieved certifications for ISO 9001:2008 and 13485:2003. The certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) are difficult to achieve and guarantee good quality management practices and systems to consistently exceed customers’ expectations around the world.

Nasco’s Plastics Manufacturing operations is devoted to the production of Life/form products. Life/form anatomical replicas and medical procedure simulators aid in the training of healthcare professionals. Our line of Life/form simulators has been a tremendous advancement in the training of nurses and doctors. Simulators are not only anatomically correct, but each one is functional in the specific technique it teaches. Some examples of these Nasco simulators include CPARLENE (a CPR simulator), CRiSis™ Manikins (infants, child, and adult complete resuscitation simulators), GERi™ (a geriatric nursing skills manikin), Ready-or-Not Tot (an interactive parenting manikin), airway management trainers, injectable training arm, blood pressure simulator, spinal injection simulator, and dozens more.

Nasco’s Plastics facility also produces realistic Life/form food and fat replicas. These are used extensively by family and consumer science teachers, nutritionists, and dietitians to explain and demonstrate correct food portions, calorie counts, fat and cholesterol content, and balanced meals. They can be used in all kinds of food demonstration with no refrigeration and easy clean up.

Agricultural Supplies
Since 1941, Nasco has proudly supplied hundreds of agricultural-related education products and learning aids, all with the Ag. Sciences and Vo-Ag teacher in mind. We know that the agriculture industry is important both to our economy and to the heritage of many families. We have expanded our selection to offer one of the widest ranges of high-quality equipment available from any single source. Our expanded selection encompasses all of agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, plus a wide selection of farm supplies.

Whirl-Pak
Whirl-Pak sampling bags make up a very important line of Nasco products. These sterilized sampling bags have many uses in dairy and food plants, hospitals and laboratories, waste and water treatment plants, biological field work, and a variety of other areas.
