APPSModel Biotreat2000 -Blend of Surfactant, Enzymes and Non-harmful Bacteria

SHARE

Biotreat2000 has been formulated for use in water treatment plants, collection system, pumping stations and fat traps to break down organic solids, reducing odour and corrosion. The enzyme present in Biotreat2000 immediately starts the break down of organic matter. The reaction products, together with the nutrient salts of Biotreat2000 create a perfect medium for the growth of bacteria in Biotreat2000 . The organisms will secrete additional enzymes capable of attacking proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

  • Reduces Septicity – Less odours, less corrosion, good PR, Lower Carbon footprint.
  • Removes Fat – Increase network performance, reducing capital costs
  • Lower Carbon Footprint – Less septicity, more oxygen, less power requirements at works, avoids roadwork’s creating less standing traffic.
  • Lower Costs due to reduction – Treating blockages and conventional cleaning
  • Improved pump performance
  • Less out of work hours
  • Higher calorific value arriving at the works allowing for an increase in greener energy being produced.  This will assist in lowering carbon footprint by using Biotreat2000 .

Biotreat2000 is a blend of surfactant, enzymes, non-harmful bacteria and nutrient salts. Primary enzymes include amylase, glucanase and proteinase. The product contains a minimum of 10 per gram.

PREVENTS FOUL ODOURS & CORROSION

Water in the sewage system contains many different bacteria and fungi spores, it also contains many complex organic products, which need to be degraded into simple compounds before disposal.   As some micro organisms reproduce they produce hydrogen sulphide which has a strong unpleasant odour. Some others like Thiobacillus Neopolitanus, Intermedius, and Thiooxidans (concretivorous) reduce P.H to 1 or 0 (their preferred range) by converting the hydrogen sulphide to sulphuric acid.

The use of surfactant to hydrolyse the hydrophobic components greatly speeds up the degradation process. By ensuring that the conditions are right for the bacteria in Biotreat2000 the undesirable bacteria are put at a disadvantage and this will inhibit their growth.
