Airborne10 is the proprietary name for Surfactant Induced Absorption Technology (SIAT). Airborne10 is a sophisticated blend of surfactants that when introduced into the flow of water and atomised through an APPS UK Ltd system alters the effective area or interface of the water droplet by something in the order of 500,000%, making the water droplet highly absorbent.

DustMac suppressants provide superior dust-control performance, supplied by a water resistant surface coating application. It is used in dust abatement systems to solve health, safety, environmental and PR issues, while helping to increase the productivity and profitability of many operations. Dust can be generated within the Mining, quarrying, construction and demolition industries through material loading and crushing processes, and can also arise from road traffic or wind blowing on stockpiles.

Biotreat2000 has been formulated for use in water treatment plants, collection system, pumping stations and fat traps to break down organic solids, reducing odour and corrosion. The enzyme present in Biotreat2000 immediately starts the break down of organic matter. The reaction products, together with the nutrient salts of Biotreat2000 create a perfect medium for the growth of bacteria in Biotreat2000 . The organisms will secrete additional enzymes capable of attacking proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

The APPS UK Ltd Mobile Rotary Atomiser (MRU) has been specifically designed to provide effective odour control and dust suppression for confined locations; the M.R.U is versatile in operation and provides a convenient, quick and efficient option to address problem areas. The MRU is a self-contained mobile method of distributing an Airborne10/water mix into the atmosphere by means of the Rotary Atomiser. These can be located almost anywhere as to intercept and absorb unwanted airborne irritants such as odour, dust and bacteria. A typical APPS UK Ltd MRU is an adaptation to a static Rotary Atomiser and is a self-contained mobile unit which will produce a droplet size of 40-70 microns. The entire unit is built onto a sturdy 3 wheeled chassis and is easily located around site. It has quick release couplings in order to connect water and electricity easily to run it.

The APPS UK Ltd Mobile Independent Boom (MIB) offers a versatile approach to our customers’ needs and is suitably designed to be utilised in remote locations. The MIB is a self-contained trailer mounted nozzle system, complete with a 2000 litre water bowser mounted on a road going galvanised chassis, a compressor and a telescopic mast with an extending boom of which our stainless steel nozzles are mounted too. This standalone unit can suit many applications and can be set up and running with a few minutes.

The APPS UK Ltd Ultrasonic Humidifier is primarily a method of distributing an Airborne10/water mix into the atmosphere by means of a fine mist. These can be located in a single room as to intercept and absorb unwanted airborne irritants such as odour, dust and bacteria. The Ultrasonic Humidifier brings moisture-rich air to and you can easily adjust the variable mist control for the perfect moisture level. This humidifier includes 2 fully rotating mist outlets, letting you control the direction of the mist. Designed to operate quietly, the humidifier provides a cool mist without any distraction from a noisy fan. Ultrasonic technology means that there are no expensive replacement filters to locate and buy.

The APPS UK Ltd Terragator System is primarily a method of distributing an Airborne10/water mix into the atmosphere by means of misting nozzles. These are mounted onto the back of a Terragator/Muck Spreader and are spaced at specific intervals/positions as to intercept and absorb unwanted airborne irritants such as odour, dust and bacteria as the vehicle is moving and spreading. The system uses the on board compressed air supply and the switching of the system is linked into the bed of the Terragator/muck spreader itself this is to provide easy automated control of the system.

These can be located in remote areas as to intercept and absorb unwanted airborne irritants such as odour, dust and bacteria.

PIRA DUO specification The PIRA DUO is designed to provide excellent coverage in order to achieve odour control and/or dust suppression in both outdoor and indoor environments. Highly mobile, it can be moved to various locations quickly and is the ideal solution to variable, localised and emergency odour or dust problems. It is highly effective for the suppression of dust, and can also be used in conjunction with AirBorne10 surfactant induced absorption technology proportional dosed in to eliminate odours in a wide range of environments.
