Tramfloc - Chlorine Tablets
TramflocE Chlorine Tablets are 73% calcium hypochlorite for potable water, food processing, water and wastewater applications. This product is carefully formulated so that it resists degradation. The formulation contains a special scale inhibitor to help control calcium scale deposits. The formulation also includes a special ingredient to provide controlled erosion characteristics of the tablet, without the use of harmful stearates, to assure consistent delivery of chlorine.
Uses
TramflocE Chlorine Tablets are used in all brands of aerobic wastewater treatment systems. The product is also NSF approved for potable water. When used as directed, the tablets effectively kill bacteria, control algae and destroy organic contaminants. The tablets offer predictable chlorine delivery and dissolve slowly. The tablets offer reliability with minimum maintenance. The tablets provide safer, simpler and effective disinfection.
Feeding
It is recommended that the product be fed continuously at a low dosage to a point in the system in which complete mixing occurs. Product is generally fed to establish a free chlorine residual of approximately 2.0 ppm. Consultant local regulations for further guidance on dosage.
Packaging
Tramfloc£ Chlorine Tablets is available in 44# net weight plastic pails, packed 36 pails per pallet. Less than full pallet quantities are available.
Handling and Storage
Closed containers of TramflocE Chlorine Tablets store well for six months in a cool, dry place.
Safety and Health
Spills of this chemical are dangerous. Precautions should be taken to prevent them from entering lakes or streams. Chemical can be flushed with copious amounts of water and disposed of according to local regulations or treated with an absorbent material, then collected for subsequent legal disposal. Always wear protective safety equipment and prevent contact of chemical with skins, eyes, and clothing. Observing basic industrial hygiene precautions should prevent any health or safety hazards.
