Pegasor Particle Counter - Model PPC -Complete system for PN-PTI testing

Pegasor Particle Counter PPC is a complete, stand-alone measurement system for regulatory PN-PTI testing. Powered by the Pegasor G2 particle sensor, the PPC is an easy-to-install system for fast and reliable testing of particle emissions from engine or vehicle tailpipe. The system fulfills all requirements and recommendation set in EU for for measuring particle number concentration from vehicles. The PPC uses the patented Pegasor G2 sensor for particle detection within the system. The Pegasor G2 sensor operation is based on electrical detection of aerosol particles following the “escaping current” technique. This unique method keeps the sensor clean throughout the measurement and therefore maintenance intervals extremely long. The G2 sensor measures particle number PN concentration as required by the PTI regulations, but it additionally gives information on the particle size and the lung deposited surface area (LDSA) and mass concentration of the particles.
