TWT-Aquasave - Demineralization Plants
TWT-AQUASAVE plants are used for underground or tap water demineralization and potabilization. they are based on the reverse osmosis principle.
TWT-AQUASAVE plants, used for underground or tap water demineralization and potabilization are produced as skid-mounted installation or in containers. Such configuration make the plants ideal for continuous operation or in case of water emergencies.
The demineralization process with reverse osmosis is possible thnks to special polymeric membranes that can be permeate by water. Salts or bigger dissolved compounds that may be present in the water are rejected and discharged in order to prevent membrane fouling or scaling.
Reverse Osmosis permeate water has a very low salts contents (conductivity < 20 µS/cm) and can be used as demineralised water for industrial applications. Otherwise, mixed with filtered water to increase the useful mineral salts, the permeate is treated with UV lamps to sterilize the water that is suitable for human consumption.
TWT-ACQUASAVE installations can treat underground or tap water with high salts and limestone contents and can be supplied with automatic membrane cleaning device.
