Kett - Model KJT270 -Desktop Instant Composition Analyzer
This completely unique instrument uses Near Infrared Light for instant, non-contact, non-destructive testing of liquid and solid samples. Moisture, fat, oil, protein and other organic components can be simultaneously measured. Includes Tracker software for calibration, measurement, and analysis of samples. This instrument connects to the serial port of a PC for calibration and data tracking. It can be run without attachment to the PC once calibration(s) have been loaded into the KJT270. Passwords protect calibrations from unauthorized alteration. There is an optional printer that is available for printed output (without use of PC).

A Near-Infrared Light Source is reflected off of the liquid or solid sample. The light resonates with the appropriate molecule(s) and a portion of the light is absorbed. The higher the measured component, the higher the amount of absorbed light. After calibration, the composition values can be instantly measured without sample preparation. Multiple organic components are measured in single test.
Calibrations and calibration points are stored within the analyzers, providing tremendous versatility for the diversified manufacturer. Moisture, protein, fat, cellulose and other organic compounds can be measured.
