EMIO - Model Type S -One-Piece Aspiration Velocity Probes
The "S" type aspiration velocity probes in the EMIOTEST 3114 and EMIOTEST 2598 dust meter kits enable isokinetic sampling of dust from the waste gas stream from technological processes or technical operations in order to determine the concentration and mass flow of dust.
Dust sampling is conducted using the isokinetic aspiration method. The probe, in accordance with the requirements of the PN-Z-04030-1 and PN-EN 13284-1 standards, is used for both internal and external filtration, complete with a selected aspiration tip and dust separator (for internal filtration, type FG-xx or FT-50, for external filtration, type FZ-xx or FD-xx, manufactured by EMIO).
The entire dust sampling path can be made of stainless steel or titanium. Probe components, excluding the aspiration path, are joined using brazing alloys, allowing for use with gases at temperatures up to 600°C. In high-temperature probes (up to 1100°C), the components are joined using plasma welding.
All presented probes are made in an unheated version, while SP-ss, SP-so, S-sfw are also made in a heated version.
Heated probes are made with a titanium sampling track and are mainly used in sampling for the determination of PAHs/PCDDs/PCDFs/heavy metal vapors/SO2/mercury/HCL/HF and wherever a titanium track is required.
The head shape matches the probe type. The probe shaft is equipped with a heating system, and the temperature is controlled by an RT200 controller or an ST-os stabilizer. The heating is powered by a shared transformer.
