The device is intended for use directly on the measuring object, and presents a ready result on the display for comparison with the result indicated by the dust meter.

Verification of the correct operation of the device before starting measurements is required by the quality system in accredited testing laboratories, in accordance with the PN-EN 15259:2011 standard.

Carrying out verification activities allows the device to be kept in full functional readiness, which guarantees the quality of the test/measurement results.

The KNP-3 controller measures volume flow using the constriction method, taking into account the temperature, pressure, and humidity of the measured gas. The metal housing with internal thermostating allows for monitoring the dust meter readings immediately before starting the measurement on the target object. An input filter and special connectors protect the controller's measuring elements from dust.
