PISTA, TURBO - Freeze Protection for Grit Pump
The SONIC START® STREAMLINE™ jacket provides freeze protection for the priming dome and solenoid valve, while the PISTA® Pinch Valve jacket keeps the bladder in the pneumatic pinch valve flexible for more dependable winter-time operation. Both jackets are recommended for all outside PISTA® grit removal system installations with Top-Mounted PISTA® TURBO™ Grit Pumps. Using state-of-the-art insulation and heating methods, both jackets are able to withstand wind-chill temperatures down to -30°F (-34.4°C).
Designed with operators in mind, the jackets automatically provide more heat as the temperature drops, and installs around the vacuum-solenoid dome assembly or PISTA® Pinch Valve quickly and easily with a Velcro closure. Additionally, the jackets come with a quick disconnect electrical connection so the jackets can be removed and stored during the warm weather months.
