Pompe Cucchi - Model FT/FM Series -Gear Metering Pump
The F – FT/FM series gear pumps are self-priming pumps suitable for transferring and pushing liquids without solid suspensions at low and medium viscosity at temperatures of up to a maximum of 230°C. The standard version is suitable for temperatures of up to 90°C. Cast iron, bronze, AISI316L versions are available. Pressures of a max of 15 bar. They can be equipped with a built-in by-pass valve or alternatively with a preheating chamber.
The construction of this series of gear pumps complies with the 2006/42/CE, 2014/30/UE, 2014/35/UE directives and the UNI EN ISO 12100, UNI EN ISO 13732-1, UNI EN 809, UNI EN ISO 14847 standards. On request versions compliant with the 2014/34/EU (ATEX) directive and with the API 676 – NACE MR0175 standards; it is also available with EAC (CU TR 010) – CU TR 012 certification.
The main sectors of application for the F – FT/FM series gear pumps are:
Pouring and pushing of diesel oil or naphtha to liquid fuel burners with pneumatic atomization.
- “Ring” pump in liquid fuel supply systems to burners/boilers.
- Loading/unloading of diathermic oils in boilers.
- Conveyance of additives into the dispensers for concrete.
- Lubrication of refrigeration compressors (oil + traces of ammonia or freon).
- Lubrication of large gearboxes.
- Circulation of oil in industrial dry cleaning machines.
- Circulation of oil in large electrical transformers.
- Metering of colors in laboratory machines for the textile and automotive industries.
- Conveying of emulsified water.
- Pushing of oils - naphtha - diesel in tank/pump/volumetric meter/gun systems.
- Handling of low viscosity liquids such as water - additives - solvents etc.
- Conveying of liquids in the food industry.
The motor shaft acts as the driving shaft of the pump. In the cast iron version, two motors are provided: one for a maximum pressure of 5 bar (FT series) – one for a maximum pressure of 10 bar (FM series).
