Gold-Coated Polycarbonate Membrane Filtration
Polycarbonate track-etched membranes feature a plain surface and round pores, providing ideal properties for particle analysis. Particles remain on the flat surface and may well be analysed by microscope. Gold coated track-etched membranes are conductive, avoiding charge of the sample and enables for electron microscopic analysis.
Sterlitech Gold membranes are coated on both sides, 40nm on one side and 20nm on the other, resulting in increased filter stability and high contrast in SEM. They meet requirements of regulatory bodies such as ISO 14966 or VDI 3492.
These are suitable as a replacement to the discontinued Nuclepore track-etch gold coated membranes.
Additional variations of pore size, diameter, or metal coating are available on request.
