Hasler - Model CLM85 and CLM90 -Calibration Chains
Calibration chains (CLM85 and CLM90) are essential accessories to any user of conveyor belt scales or weighbeltfeeders. It’s often very difficult to check the dynamic accuracy of a beltscale or a weighbeltfeeder installed in a continuous production line if there is no material deviation possibility for a drop test. Each CLM calibration chain consists of 1 hanging shaft with hook and several roller segments. The segment pitch is selected according to the weighbridge length.
- For a short weighbridge, choose a segment with 100mm pitch
- For a long weighbridge, choose a segment with 200 mm pitch.
The required total calibration chain length is defined according to the weighbridge length.

Chain types
There are 3 possible material qualities: steel, cast iron or stainless steel.
The segment pitch is either 200 mm or 100 mm
A range of weight per meter is available as standard.
Type CLM85
- Materials : Cast iron or stainless steel.
- Standard lenghts : 4.2, 5.2, 6.2 and 7.2 m (others on request)
- Pitch : 200 mm
Détermination of the chain weight per meter of chain
Depending on the nominal belt load (kg/m) on the beltscale or weighbelt feeder, the weight per meter of the chain will represent :
- 80% - 110% of the nominal belt load for weighbelt feeders
- 50% - 100% of the nominal belt load for beltscales
