Compared to standard hydrates, Sorbacal® HS is characterized by significantly better physical and chemical parameters. It has a higher specific surface area of typically 20 m²/g (BET), as well as a high calcium hydroxide content of at least 93% (Ca(OH)2) and an appropriate grain size distribution. The above properties significantly improve the ability to capture acidic gases.
