UF unit working in a cheese production process. In a single stage pass it concentrates milk, dividing it from the most aqueous part of whey (lactose and salts) retaining fats and proteins. In this case for Egypt, beside to the savings to have due to the volume reduction, the goal was to minimize salt content in the produced cheese. The unit can work both continuously and in the batch, with 2 mc/h feed and concentration ratio up to 75%. Normally or completely automatically with a PLC.
