The "Ideal Application" is for use on the backwash outlet of automatic self-cleaning strainers. When used to clean the backwash flow from an automatic self-cleaning strainer, an automatic backwash control can also be furnished to permit intermittent regulation of the backwash flow. This control consists of the necessary motor operated valves, timers and pressure differential switches.
Body=Fabricated Steel (Optional 304 or 316 Stainless Steel). Basket=304 Stainless Steel (Optional 316 Stainless or Monel) - small end of the wedge-wire basket is facing the dirty liquid for straining efficiency. Suitable for 150 PSI working pressure. Hydrostatically tested to 1.5 times the working pressure.
