Lehmann - Magnetic Filter
The magnetic filter is used for fully automatic, continuous cleaning of liquid media to remove ferromagnetic substances. The magnetic filter consists of a stainless steel housing with an electrically driven magnetic roll that is jacketed by a thin-walled stainless steel sleeve. Optionally, it can be equipped with high-performance neodymium magnets, and its modular construction means it can be individually adapted to the available space.
Mode of function
The particles suspended in the liquid are directed past the magnetic roll together with the liquid, opposite to the direction of rotation. Ferromagnetic substances adhere and are removed by means of a non-contact scraper. An optional retention roll on the magnetic roll separates the liquid from the impurities. Flow rates of approx. 63 - 1500 l/min are possible.
