Metrohm - Model OMNIS KF -Karl Fischer Titrator
Fully integrated solution for water content determination with volumetric Karl Fischer titration. OMNIS KF Titration is the high-end volumetric Karl Fischer titrator based on the modular OMNIS platform. With OMNIS KF Titration, determining water in samples has never been more convenient, safer, and easier.
- Unprecedented ease-of-use and minimal manual workload
- Faster and more reliable results with various automation possibilities
- Avoid contact with reagents thanks to the modern Liquid Adapter
- Flexibility to upgrade your system as needed thanks to the modular approach
- Compliance with FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11 and EudraLex, Volume 4, Annex 11
Automation in every aspect
OMNIS KF Titration offers many automation options allowing you to minimize time-consuming manual work:
- Once you have injected the sample, the titration is started automatically
- After measurement, the used sample is discarded automatically
- The cell is prepared for the next determination automatically
Automation also means that all samples are treated identically, which improves reproducibility and result accuracy, and allows you to streamline work in your lab. Achieve:
- Faster sample preparation: save up to 25% of your time using OMNIS KF Dis-Cover
- Higher throughput: with just one additional work station for parallel analyses, you will save up to 40% of the time compared with sequential determinations
- Decreased solvent use: with the OMNIS Sample Robot, you only need 12 mL of solvent per sample
With OMNIS KF Titration, contact with toxic reagents and solvents is eliminated:
- No contact during reagent exchange and full traceability of reagents thanks to 3S Liquid Adapter.
- All reagents are contained in a closed system.
- Used reagent is discarded automatically
- The titration cell is filled and emptied automatically
Learn how Hydranal™ reagents make your work faster, better, and safer thanks to automated data transfer, end-to-end traceability, reduced chemical contact, and more.
In addition, Cubis® II from Sartorius has become a fully integrated member of the OMNIS platform thanks to an extension (QApp) implemented on the balance. The integration of the high-end Sartorius lab balance allows you to meet superior standards in terms of performance and usability.
OMNIS KF Titration helps you to minimize titration errors: LEDs show the status of the instrument, indicating if the system is ready or if there is an error.
The OMNIS platform is operated via the modern OMNIS software. OMNIS software supports you with functions such as prompts, embedded help, system checks as well as pre-installed methods to ensure simple and safe operation.
Automation
Minimize time-consuming manual work
With OMNIS KF Titration, there are almost no limits to automation: from sample preparation to the determination itself – everything is optimized to get results faster and more reliably.
- Unattended sample changing: In combination with an OMNIS Sample Robot, you can determine the water content in up to 50 samples – completely unattended.
- Carry out parallel titrations: With just one additional work station, you will save 40% of the time compared with sequential determinations.
Sample preparation
Increased reproducibility and faster results
The modular design allows you not only to expand the KF titration system according to your needs but also to reduce the manual workload.
- The OMNIS Solvent Module removes and discards the used sample from the titration cell and prepares the cell for the next measurement – fully automatically
- Thanks to OMNIS KF Dis-Cover, you can save up to 25% of your time for sample preparation compared with other systems.
Software
Full control and comprehensive data management
OMNIS KF titrators are operated via OMNIS software. OMNIS software features an intuitive and modern user interface using drag-and-drop functionalities and context-sensitive help elements to make your experience as easy as possible. OMNIS software is compliant to FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EudraLex, Volume 4, Annex 11.
