Metrohm - Model Titrotherm -Fully Integrated Potentiometric Titration System
When potentiometric titration reaches its limitations: Thermometric titrator for the determination of sodium, FFA, or TAN/TBN among others. Titrotherm is a thermometric titrator for fast determinations when potentiometric titration cannot be applied. It is particularly useful for the analysis of sodium in foodstuffs, free fatty acids (FFA) in edible oils and fats, total acid number (TAN) and total base number (TBN) in mineral oil products, as well as acid mixtures in electroplating baths.

One sensor for all applications
As Titrotherm uses a temperature sensor, you only need one sensor for all your thermometric applications. This means that cumbersome and time-consuming tasks are no longer needed:
- No sensor calibration or maintenance required
- No sensor exchange required for different applications
Automate your Titrotherm system with a sample processor to run sample series automatically while increasing the reproducibility, precision, and accuracy of your results.
Depending on your requirements, you can have the sample processor that matches exactly your needs: with one or two towers for parallel operation and with or without internal or external pumps for aspirating and rinsing.
Titrotherm is controlled with the tiamo software. You are thus able to develop and optimize your own methods. This software also recognizes the instrument automatically when it is connected to the computer.

Higher throughput in less time
With Titrotherm, there is the option to automate sample changing by using a Metrohm sample processor. Simply place the samples in the sample rack, initiate the analysis, and you are done.
Metrohm offers two options:
- 814 USB Sample Processor: For small to medium-sized sample series and straightforward analyses
- 815 Robotic USB Sample Proce
Sample preparation
Less manual work, better accuracy
Titrotherm can be combined with the 815 Robotic USB Sample Processor to automate sample preparation and liquid handling tasks steps such as pipetting.

Full data control and data management
Titrotherm is operated via tiamo, the flexible and easy-to-use titration software that puts you in control of all aspects of your titration. You can store, manage, reprocess, and exchange data – on an individual PC or within a client/server network, depending on your needs.
