Tramfloc - Model 1102 -Mining Foam Control Agent
Tramfloc 1102 is an oil based formulation designed to control foam in phosphate processing, mining, and other metal processing systems where foam column formation hinders production. Tramfloc21102 was specifically formulated to have long lasting effectiveness in wet process phosphoric acid production. This formulation is useful in controlling foam at relatively low rates. The dosage rates for various applications should be determined experimentally as each situation is unique and specific to the ores and slurries involved.
Properties
Tramfloc21102 has an appearance of an amber liquid. It is insoluble in water and has a density of 7.34 lbs. per gallon. The formulation`s flash point is >140°F.
Uses
Tramfloc21102 is used primarily for the control of foam in mining, mineral and phosphate processing environments. Tramfloc21102 will not separate. Tramfloc2! 102 is effective in the 0.1-0.5% dosage range based upon the level and formulation of the mineral slurry or phosphate mixture. Tramfloc2! 102 resists haze formation. The dosage should be adjusted to achieve the desired level of foam control. Tramfloc" 1 102 should be added as received via metering system early in the foaming process to prevent foam formulation.

Wash exposed areas with soap and water. Flush eyes with water for a minimum of 15 minutes. If irritation or nausea persists, seek medical attention. If inhalation occurs, move victim to fresh air. If unconscious, administer artificial respiration and seek medical attention.
