SDS Go-Filter - Mobile Stormwater Filtration Unit

Go-Filter is a mobile water filtration unit, which is transported by truck and can be used as both a temporary and permanent solution to maintaining the quality of water from a live construction site or industrial facility.

Once the trailer has been positioned at the desired location, hose connections to the water source and the drainage facility can be made quickly and efficiently. Both the filtration processes and pumps are powered by a single connection using electrical supply or a generator. These simple power and water connections prepare the device for use almost immediately upon arrival.

Go-Filter is able to remove up to 95% of fine suspended solids and particles to just 0.5 microns in size; filtered water can be discharged directly to a receiving water body.

Go-Filter surpasses the restriction imposed by the UK Environment Agency of 50 mg/l of suspended solids and requires no chemicals or flocculants, which can otherwise be harmful to the environment, in order to accomplish a reduction in turbidity.

The unique design of Go-Filter incorporates a self-cleaning inline gross pollutant separator and strainer for pre-treatment followed by two cross-flow (centrifugal) sand filters configured in parallel and charged with PathShield media for the primary treatment.

In contrast to traditional sand filters, Go-Filter’s cross-flow filtration technology achieves a high level of performance efficiency; particles removed are smaller than can be achieved with traditional sand filters. Go-Filter’s radial cross-flow design traps particles at the surface of the media bed rather than deep within a media bed (such as a traditional sand filter).

The radial cross-flow filters self-clean through the use of automated backwashing cycles that utilise process water, therefore negating the need for a dedicated water storage vessel. As a consequence, Go-Filter technology uses 50% less backwash water than traditional filters.
