Model SANITRX LP -Rupture Disc
For applications that require lower pressures with reduced flow resistance, Continental Disc offeres the SANITRX LP Rupture Disc. This new rupture disc was designed specifically to provide the same features as the original SANITRX Rupture Disc, but with the added benefit of lower available burst pressures. Plus, through the benefit of using our on-site ASME Accepted Flow Test Laboratory, the SANITRX LP Rupture Disc has been designed to have one of the lowest KR flow resistance factors available in a rupture disc of any design - from any manufacturer.
Nominal Size Range: 1 " - 3 " ( 25 mm - 80 mm )
Burst Pressure Range: 10 psig- 150 psig ( 0,69 barg - 10,3 barg )
Recommended Operating Ratio: 90 % of the rupture disc`s rated (stamped) burst pressure.
Seating Configuration: Standard Sanitary Ferrules

(B.D.I.) Burst Disc Indicator
Continental Disc Corporation`s Burst Disc Indicator (B.D.I.) Alarm System is designed specifically for use with C.D.C. Rupture Discs. Upon disc rupture, the Burst Disc Indicator strip is severed, disrupting the flow of electric current through the strip. An attached alarm monitor can then transmit a warning and/or activate appropriate equipment.
