Siemens UltramatModel 23 -Multi-Component Continous Gas Analyzer

SHARE

The ULTRAMAT 23 is an innovative multi-component gas analyzer which can be equipped with the following sensors: IR detector for IR-active gases, UV photometer for UV-active gases, H2S sensor (electrochemical), O2 sensor (electrochemical or paramagnetic), and used accordingly in numerous applications and industries. The integrated automatic calibration function using ambient air provides the unique advantage of requiring a test with calibration gases only once a year. Menu-guided operation in plain text allows users and service personnel to operate the device immediately. Preventive maintenance is made possible by the information in the logbook.

Highlights
See for yourself why the ULTRAMAT 23 is the gas analyzer of choice.

The multi-layer detectors used guarantee high selectivity and reduced water vapor interference. The measuring cuvettes used are robust and resistant and can be cleaned easily in case of disturbances induced by faults in the sample preparation and subsequent contamination. The electrochemical oxygen sensor is used to determine the O2 reference variable, and the hydrogen sulphide sensor extends the application range of the ULTRAMAT 23 to applications in biogas plants. The additional use of electrochemical sensors together with NDIR technology in a single basic device saves costs in sample preparation and spare parts inventory.

  • Max. number of components: 4
  • Components: E.g., CO, CO2, NO, SO2, CH4, O2, H2S
  • Smallest measuring range: Component specific: 0–50 / 0–500 vpm
  • Housing: 19" withdrawable unit
  • Highly cost-effective because calibration gases are not required (AUTOCAL with ambient air, depending on the measuring component)
  • High selectivity due to multilayer detectors e.g. low cross-sensitivity to water vapor
  • Cleanable cuvettes: Cost savings through further use in case of contamination
  • Menu-guided operation in plain text
  • Open interface architecture (RS 485, RS 232; PROFIBUS, SIPROM GA): Simplified process integration; remote operation and control
