Fields of application Highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch for PP Examples. Elimination of moisture from (recycled) polymers in moisture sensitive applications. Mode of action PYCNO 785 is a ready-for-use highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch. It contains additives that chemically bind moisture. PYCNO 785 has been designed for use with recycling materials as well as for applications sensitive to the effects of moisture.

Characteristics Composition 40% additive formulation in PP carrier.
Appearance White to off-white granules.
Storage and handling 12 months from delivery in original packaging. Keep in cool, dry and well-ventilated area. It is not particularly sensitive to heat, but rather to moisture
Temperature stability The product may be suitable for processing temperatures up to 300 °C.
Dosing rate For film extrusion and moulding applications a dosing level of 0.5 - 2% and for compounding a dosing level of 1 - 3% is recommended
