Fields of application Odour reduction masterbatch for recycled PP and recycled PE containing high content of Post-Consumer Recycled raw materials for various applications. Mode of action Pycno 917 contains a blend of chemicals which neutralize and reduce the odour caused by components such as hydrogen sulphide, amines and ammonia. PYCNO 917 is based on PP carrier and therefore limited suitable for PE: maximum dosing is 2% and MFI of PE should be lower than 20. Not Food Approved

- Advantages PP or PE products and compounds containing high content of Post-Consumer Recycled raw materials for various applications. Highly effective for most common bad odours. Good processable. No negative influence on other product properties. Safe and easy handling.
- Characteristics Additive concentration: 30 wt% on PP carrier
- Appearance Off-white granules.
- Storage and handling 12 months from delivery in original packaging. Keep in cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
- Temperature stability The product may be suitable for processing temperatures up to 280 °C. Minimum processing temperature is 220 °C
- Dosing level The optimum amount of masterbatch in PP or PE compounds and end products must be determined by preliminary tests and is generally between 0.5 and 2 %.
- Dosing equipment Volumetric or gravimetric dosing units.
- Processing equipment All kind of extruders as well as injection molding and blow molding machines.
