Compound-specific VOCs (via a robust field GC)
Our portable field gas chromatographs (GC) measure compound-specific volatile organic compound (VOC) concentrations in real time.  The GCs can be configured to operate in either a total volatile organic compound (TVOC) mode or in a compound specific mode (i.e., benzene).  In the TVOC mode, if the TVOC level exceeds a pre-determined value, the GC switches to a compound-specific analysis to identify the individual compounds.  

Particulates (i.e., dust)
Our direct-reading, real-time particulate, or dust, meters monitor dust using infrared electromagnetic radiation to sense airborne particles.  The dust meter can be configured to respond to dust particles < 10 micron in diameter (PM10), < 2.5 microns (PM2.5) in diameter, or to a total suspended particulate (TSP) value.

Weather
The AirLogics on-site meteorological tower measures wind speed, direction, dry-bulb temperature, and relative humidity. The central computer system receives continuous information from the meteorological tower and computes a two-minute running average wind speed and direction value.  This, in turn, is used to identify which monitoring station is upwind, downwind, or crosswind. 

Live Dashboards

Our equipment transmits data in real time to a local computer or cloud-based server via telemetry.  Users can log-on to our customizable dashboards to view and manage the data.

Continous Data Collection and Logging

The monitoring data is automatically archived and used to generate summary graphs—daily, weekly, and/or at project completion.   The data is stored to  an on-site computer and to a secure, remote server maintained by Air Logics or to a secure cloud storage location.  The off-site, archived data provides redundancy of the collected dataset and offers clients convenient, remote access to project data via office computers and mobile devices.
