Safety-Critical Transmitters - 268DS

This Safety instrument has been designed, developed and manufactured according to IEC61508/ISA S84.01 which covers the complete life cycle of the product. It comprises a reliable sensing system coupled with very latest digital technologies, providing large turn down ratio up to 100:1 and a 5-years stability. The user has a comprehensive choice of sensors and therefore can optimize total performance.

With a long-term stability, 268DS works within stated performance even in extreme ambient and process conditions. ABB configuration platform represent one of the most important key factor thanks to its intrinsic flexibility: users can configure the transmitter easily via a hand held terminal or PC software tool.

With TÜV SIL2 certification and applicable SIL3 (only for redundant configuration), the 268DS represents the smartest solution in Safety loop applications.
