Static Sieves are self-cleaning fine screens which can produce a filtration level screening quality, operating by gravity without the need for actuating equipment. This screen type is used especially in the treatment plants of such industries as textile, pulp and paper, food processing and alcohol production.

Static Sieves consist of a sieve system specially produced out of V-notched stainless steel wedge wires, and a water distribution weir. They are particularly easy to operate and require almost no maintenance.

In static screen, there is no mechanical part. It fine screens by gravity. It is comprised of a frame, unique screen configuration manufactured from stainless steel wedge wires, and water distribution weir. With Static Screen, retention of particles from 0,25 mm to 2 mm size is possible. It is widely used at the treatment plants of textile, food, and alcohol industries and paper mills.
