Terrawater - Model TerraOrganic OFW -Surface Waters
The surface waters and silage seepage produced on biogas plants are treated by the TerrOrganic Surface Water Treatment (OFW) at 100% in a way that on the one hand an energy concentrate and on the other a distillate for the fermenter is produced. As a result, it can contribute significantly to the digestate repository discharge.
The system is mounted in a 20 ‘container and serves as an extension of an existing TerraOrganic OFW & Bio system. Up to 3 OFW systems can use the bioreactor of one OFW & Bio system. Thus, the system can be adapted exactly to the conditions and wishes on the biogas plant.
The amount of water that can be treated per TerraOrganic module depends on the degree of concentration selected. This is determined by the permitted volume of water in the fermenter and can therefore be determined individually by the operator. On the other hand, the amount of water produced is always constant. As the concentration increases, the energy content of the fermenter volume flow increases.
The maximum possible concentration depends on the starting concentration (pumpability).
