Terrawater - Model TerraOrganic OFW&Bio -Surface Waters & Bioreactor
The surface waters produced biogas plants is 100% treated by TerraOrganic for surface waters with a bioreactor (OFW & Bio) at 100% in a way that, on the one hand, water ready for flooding and, on the other hand, an energy concentrate for the fermenter is produced.
In a first step, the water to be treated (with arbitrary pollution) is pumped from a lagoon or similar into the TerraOrganic system, where this is removed by a natural, chemical-free evaporation process, a distillate.
While the energetic concentrate produced in the TerraOrganic for surface waters is fed into the fermenter, the lightly loaded distillate is pumped into the TerraOrganic bioreactor. This consists essentially of a multi-stage reactor space, a regulated ventilation system and an automated solids discharge (sludge).
The distillate remains in the reactor in which microorganisms settle until the nutrients contained have been broken down and the water is thus at least capable of introducing it. Since the COD load in surface water can fluctuate extremely for a variety of reasons over the seasons (from a few 1,000 mg / l to several 10,000 mg / l), TerraOrganic automatically detects fluctuating COD values at the inlet and at the outlet and, if necessary, adjusts the dwell time and / or the degree of concentration to these changed parameters. Thus, a constant discharge quality is always guaranteed!
From the bioreactor, the water flows through a pipeline into the receiving water. The resulting sludge is fed together with the concentrate into the fermenter or to the repository.
The bioreactor is constructed so that it can be heated by waste heat. This ensures that the optimum operating temperature for the microorganisms is maintained even during prolonged cold periods.
