Testo - Model 815 -Portable Sonometers
The testo 815 is the ideal device for assessing the noise level in the workplace on a daily basis. The device can be used for control measurements in the air conditioning and heating sector, on combustion plants or at the workplace, but also for quick and precise noise assessment of machinery or in a disco.
The "Fast / Slow" button can be used to set the measurement time to 1 s or 125 ms to better evaluate the noise source. The frequency evaluation can also be toggled between the characteristic curves A and C at the touch of a button. Curve A corresponds to the sound pressure experienced by the human ear, while curve C is used to evaluate the low-frequency parts of a noise.
The measuring instrument can be recalibrated directly on site using the optionally available calibrator and the supplied calibration screwdriver. The draft shield supplied guarantees correct measuring results outdoors and, if necessary, protects the microphone from dust and dirt.
