PycnoPlast
PycnoPlast - Model Pycno 130 -Thermal Stabilization Masterbatch
FromPycnoPlast
Fields of application Stabilisation and processing masterbatch for producing glass mat reinforced polypropylene (GMT) and long fibre reinforced PP materials (LFTs). Examples Long fibre reinforced materials for automotive parts, like
undercover shields, dashboard carriers, assembly carriers, front panels, front bumpers etc. Mode of action Contains a synergistic blend of processing stabilisers and heat stabilisers which protect the polymer during processing operations at high temperature by decomposing reactive hydroperoxides. Heat stabilisers inhibit the thermo-oxidative degradation of the end-product by radical scavenging reactions.
