Tramfloc - Model 1102B -Foam Control Agent
TRAMFLOC 1102B is a dispersible oil-based emulsion defoamer formulated to eliminate foam and entrained air in a variety of industrial applications including linerboard paper machines.
TRAMFLOC 1102B contains a balanced proprietary blend of hydrophobic particles and defoaming surfactants that penetrate the foam lamella, causing rapid drainage of the thin film and foam destabilization.
TRAMFLOC8 1102B demonstrates superior cost effectiveness over conventional water-based defoamers, especially at elevated temperatures typical of high speed machines.
TRAMFLOC 1102B is effective over the wide pH and temperature ranges.
TRAMFLOC 1102B offers greater efficiency and dispersibility than conventional oil-based defoamers offering fewer quality problems and better machine runnability.
REGULATORY INFORMATION:
The components of TRAMFLOC 1102B comply with the criteria established in FDA regulations 21 CFR 176.210, governing the use of defoaming agents in the manufacture of paper and paperboard intended for food contact.
