Triple S Dynamics - Slide Gates
The Triple/S Eco-Slide Gate was developed when a major food processor approached Triple/S Dynamics with the problem of cleaning and maintaining the existing gates on their conveyors. They wanted the ability of the removal of the gate to be tool-less, less time for disassembly and reassembly during the sanitation process between plant production cycles. The Triple/S design team went to work to develop a new low cost gate system to meet the customer’s requirements.
It took just one day to retrofit the new gates into the existing conveyors. Tool-less and easily removable for sanitation affording the customer less downtime, this new gate is a great example of why collaborating with the customer’s needs works.
Easy Clean Slide Gate
The Easy Clean Slide Gate offers food processors fast, thorough cleaning of all critical gate areas. Sanitation is improved with no fasteners in the food stream, as is performance and reliability of the gate. For cleaning access, toggle clamps on each side of the gate assembly are released which allow the stainless steel retaining frame to pivot away from the conveyor pan. The UHMW gate plate is then free to drop away from the pan, allowing easy access to all of the contacting surfaces. The Easy Clean slide gate assembly is available in single or multi-channel arrangements and can also be retrofitted to existing conveyor pans.
Proportioning Slide Gate
The Proportioning Slide Gate is designed to reliably discharge from 0-100% of the product stream through a given gate opening. The gate is actuated by a rod lock air cylinder to position the UHMW gate plate at up to 7 pre-set opening positions. The opening positions are field adjustable. The Proportioning Slide Gate is provided in either Easy Clean or ECO configurations for single or multi-channel arrangements.
