ATP Environment wet scrubbers effectively remove air pollutants by inertial impact through reaction with a specific chemical agent that varies depending on the type of pollutant to be abated or by physical absorption into the solvent in the liquid phase. In ATP scrubbers, the abatement of pollutants occurs by chemical reaction between air and scrubbing solution inside the scrubber tower: pollutants are transferred by absorption from air to water.
