The Burnside Building Sciences Group is a team of committed technologists and professional engineers who are passionate about buildings. We recognize the importance of staying current in a rapidly evolving industry and invest in the professional development of our people. We understand the financial and environmental impact of operating and maintaining building facilities and work with building owners to minimize these impacts.
Our assignments are varied and have included building condition assessments in the Northwest Territories, designing hospitals and schools in Northern Ontario, working with industry on plant expansion, rehabilitating churches in urban centres and carrying out the design of public buildings from concept to completion. Assignments like these require an understanding of the inter-relationship between the various systems within buildings and collaboration among our structural, mechanical, electrical and building science professionals.
