Collection Systems Design Services
RJN engineers have completed design services for collection systems of municipalities, utilities, and private developers across the country. Project locations have included environmentally sensitive areas and older fully developed neighborhoods.
These projects have met goals that include:
- Extending sewer and water services to new areas
- Increasing system capacity
- Re-routing sewerage flows
- Replacing or rehabilitating antiquated, undersized, or deteriorated existing lines
- Relocating lines in anticipation or advance of proposed improvements
- Rehabilitating and/or replacing in-line facilities
RJN engineers, through experience, have the knowledgebase to ensure that our design work applies appropriate, cost-effective techniques customized to project site conditions. This experience is applied to ensure that they can be constructed efficiently and within budget.
Our designs incorporate both conventional open cut construction and innovative trenchless techniques for rehabilitation and construction of pipelines and structures. We utilize innovative trenchless construction technologies in order to overcome obstacles associated with traditional methods, such as proximity of existing utilities, and existing hardscape and landscape.
