Yorwaste is able to take this danger away though its confidential waste collection and destruction service. Using our high capacity, cross cut shredding technology we are able to safely destroy confidential paper to prevent information falling in to the hands of fraudsters.
Confidential paper is collected in special security tagged bags from business premises and transported to our secure shredding facility. The shredding is carried out in a secure, CCTV monitored, room by trained operatives. Customers are able to witness the destruction of their confidential waste on request.
The shredded paper is then sent for recycling into new paper products in the normal way. Digital media can contain recoverable data even after being subjected to data wiping software. Yorwaste can shred digital media such as CDs, DVDs, internal and external hard drives, flash drives etc and completely destroy the stored data.
At the end of the process a data destruction certificate is issued and as well as giving you peace of mind that your waste has been destroyed, you also have the comfort of knowing you have played your part in helping the environment through recycling.
