Environmental Auditing
ECT performs environmental compliance audits to provide an independent evaluation of our client’s compliance status with applicable statutory and regulatory environmental requirements in accordance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The environmental audit includes a review of the applicability and status of compliance (whether by regulation, permit or other commitment).
- Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
- Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) Title III: Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA)
- Clean Water Act (CWA) and other state and local water requirements
- Clean Air Act (CAA) and other state and local air requirements
- Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA)
Following all environmental audits, ECT delivers a written environmental compliance audit report including a compliance assurance spreadsheet detailing the findings of the environmental audit and any recommended corrective actions for all noncompliance findings. The compliance assurance spreadsheet includes the applicability and status of compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The compliance assurance spreadsheet is developed using the following information:
- Regulatory Code Reference (e.g. 40 CFR 112.1)
- Description of Regulatory Reference (e.g. Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures)
- Regulatory Applicability to Client
- Targets
- Regulatory Due Dates
- Regulatory Status
