Exposure Modelling Services
Our environmental exposure modellers provide in-depth exposure assessments using industry standard approaches, including the FOCUS Surface Water and FOCUS Groundwater modelling suites. We also provide kinetic analysis according to FOCUS guidance using CAKE, KINGUI or ModelMaker. Calculations of concentrations in soil are also undertaken. Beyond standard approaches, we specialise in the development of more realistic exposure scenarios or approaches. This includes pH dependency, implementation of bespoke drift values and creation of specific (more realistic) exposure scenarios to run within the standard modelling shells. Our exposure modellers work closely with our clients and our own ecotoxicologists to ensure that the results generated are suitable for the risk assessment task for which they are required.
