Constellation’s Analytical Services Laboratories can provide a myriad of testing disciplines to assist you. These disciplines include Non Destructive Testing, Industrial Chemistry, Mechanical Testing, IAQ/Particulate Testing, and Quality Assurance Testing Services. The Analytical Services Laboratory currently has customers located in 40+ states and 5 foreign countries, averaging 950 contracts per year.

The Analytical Services Laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for chemical (Certificate # 1171-01), mechanical (Certificate # 1171-02) and nondestructive (Certificate # 1171-03) testing. A2LA accreditation ensures that the Laboratory’s Quality Plan is compliant with ISO/IEC 17025, "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories," the international standard for contract analysis laboratories. A2LA accreditation enables the Analytical Services Laboratory to provide analytical services to all ISO 9000 certified manufacturers.

In addition to its commercial customers, the Analytical Services Laboratory has provided service to the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) of the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Constellation is a prime contractor for the United States Department of Defense. Constellation’s DoD contracts have focused on the development of sensors for the detection of materials used in nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons of mass destruction. In each of the corporation’s contracts, the Analytical Services Laboratory has performed specific tasks focused on the development and/or evaluation of protocols employed for the determination of fissile materials in soil and water, isotopic ratios of fissile materials in environmental particulate, and chemical agents in soil.

The Analytical Services Laboratory is known for its ability to perform sophisticated, non routine, analyses that may involve the use of more than one analytical technique. The Laboratory routinely performs tasks such as material identification, failure analysis, process troubleshooting, process evaluation, verification of material specifications, contaminant identification, nondestructive verification of component quality, etc. The Laboratory is known for its broad scope of accreditation, its quick turn around time, the quality and timeliness of its written reports, the technical ability of its staff, the cost effectiveness of its analyses, and the ability of its staff to provide personalized service to its customers.
