Soil Mixing

When a site is unsuitable for in-situ remedial material injection due to the high contamination present in the shallow, unsaturated zone, soil mixing can be employed to quickly reduce concentrations to below hazardous waste standards.  The most common application of soil mixing is when soils are above the HAZ disposal limit and need to be reduced to minimize costs to the client for soil disposal.
