Structural Engineering Services
Burnside provides structural engineering services that encompass a full range of project types, from those involving a couple of hours of work to large-scale projects requiring several months of design. We leverage our problem solving abilities to provide practical and economical solutions. We offer integrated solutions with our in-house building science, mechanical, electrical, environmental and site servicing abilities or we can provide stand alone structural engineering services.
Our team has experience in all sectors of work including: churches, schools, hospitals, factories, warehouses, wind turbines, towers, water treatment/storage facilities, failure investigation, expert witnessing, low to medium rise buildings and agricultural structures.
If you have an unusual problem, Burnside has the ability to provide you with a design solution. Our engineering teams have designed strawbale houses, concrete domes, timber framed buildings, smoke stacks, movie sets, machinery supports, fall arrest systems, racking, guarding, yurts and temporary works.
We are licensed and have completed projects throughout the Provinces and Territories of Canada and globally in accordance with relevant codes.
