Water Optimization and Low Flow Program (WOLF) Program Services

SHARE
Many areas of our country are now facing historic drought conditions.  State governments and water authorities are implementing strict regulations to reduce water consumption.  This impacts business owners who are looking to comply with the water restrictions, and reduce their water and sewer expenses.

In recent news, Governor Jerry Brown issued an Executive Order mandating a 25% statewide water reduction.  Governor Brown declared, “The State Water Resources Control Board shall impose restrictions to achieve a statewide 25% reduction in potable urban water usage through February 28, 2016.”  It’s anticipated this will result in the establishment of mandatory reduction measures for commercial and industrial properties.

In response to these continuing drought conditions and recent mandated restrictions, Water Management is offering its Water Optimization and Low Flow (WOLF) Program to qualified California based companies.  The WOLF program will provide training, auditing tools and software for selected, established companies, thereby enabling them to quickly provide a customized water efficiency project for their clients.  Succinct proposals will identify recommended water conservation measures, along with the cost and paybacks for each of the measures.

Water Audit Training

Water Management will conduct 6 hours of classroom and 6 hours of field training over a two day period.  During the hands-on training sessions, Water Management will identify several ways to conduct an assessment for the various end uses mentioned in the preceding paragraph.

Water Management will provide cost effective approaches to use when evaluating water conservation opportunities at commercial facilities.  Proprietary savings models will be provided in Excel format for domestic fixture replacement/retrofit savings analysis.  Water auditing tools including a T5 flush meter will be provided.

On-going technical support:

Water Management personnel will provide support in pricing measures, developing proposals and savings models.  Water Management will also identify best product solutions and pricing. Monthly fee includes up to 20 hours of support.

The WOLF program identifies, quantifies and verifies water usage for many solution sets.  ROI’s and IRR’s are provided for each water conservation measure, such as Domestic Fixtures, Cooling Units, Heating Systems, Boilers, Kitchen Fixtures and Appliances, Laundries, Irrigation, and Process Equipment.
