Data loggers and data acquisition monitoring solutions for the industrial sector
Industrial data loggers for monitoring equipment and processes for applications including collecting energy and utilization data, fault identification, temperature profiling trouble-shooting and more. Loggers capture data for various types equipment and processes. These solutions can monitor any type of parameter including temperature, voltage, current, or virtually any other, or combination of parameters. Industrial data loggers are ideal for a wide variety of applications including process monitoring, temperature profiling, fault identification, process documentation, research and development and energy monitoring.
The industrial data logging products can be divided into 2 categories:
- Single Input Type Data Loggers that are designed to measure one specific parameter such as temperature or voltage. Single input type loggers such as the Versalog-TC are available with 1-8 channels and are ideal for smaller applications where cost is a concern.
- Universal Input Loggers with the flexibility to monitor multiple signal types simultaneously. Universal input loggers like the dataTaker DT80 are available in configurations up to 100’s of input channels. Combined with their ability to measure and monitor multiple signal types, they can be used to record data from multiple points on a piece of equipment or within a process. If you need a unit with a display, the Brainchild Paperless Recorders are perfect for projects that require a local display.
Rugged and reliable, the intelligent data loggers offer a host of features for configuration, communications, data capture and data analysis. For example, Delphin LogMessage loggers have a number of communications ports such as Modbus, CAN or Profibus that allow them to be easily interfaced to other equipment such as PLC’s, HMI’s or other intelligent sensors.
