Surfcleaner helps refineries to fulfill their needs for the treatment of produced water and wastewater. Skimmer Separator Hybrids SCO 8000 and SCO 1000 are commonly used to remove surface oil in API separators and storm water pits. Both SCO 1000 and SCO 8000 are ATEX/EX certified for Zone 0.
Surfcleaner Hybrids skim and separate oil of light and medium viscosity, operate continuously, preventing oil from accumulating on the water surface. Some refineries have installed Surfcleaners in covered API separators and have been able to reduce VOC emissions by up to a staggering 95%!
