Air Innovations has designed multiple custom aerospace cooling systems including both fixed and portable environmental control systems (PECS) or movable thermostatting units (MTU) for cooling payloads pre-launch and self-contained cleanroom air conditioning for calibrating avionic systems.

While some aerospace environmental control systems require precise temperature and humidity tolerances and integrated cleanroom-level filtration, we understand each solution is unique. Many of the aerospace cooling systems we have designed required a broad range of capabilities: HEPA filtration, pressurization, adjustable output temperatures over a broad potential temperature range (45°–85°F / 7°–29.5°C), humidification and dehumidification, protective coatings for operation in sea-salt environments, and more.

Many of the aerospace environmental control units have required very low dew points for cooling the core during fueling (desiccant dehumidification to -22°C). And most of the systems we design for aerospace and defense customers require HEPA filtration (or more).
