Ultrasonic Algae Control Solutions for Fish Hatcheries - Agriculture - Fisheries
Harmful algae blooms in fish farms and hatcheries are bad news. Because algae can be toxic to people and wildlife, it must be addressed quickly. Wild marine fish can swim away from these blooms with ease, however, when an aquaculture operation is overtaken, the fish can’t escape.

A full scale hatchery can produce a large amount of waste, which results in higher phosphorus and nitrogen concentrations. These nutrients contribute to algae blooms, in turn, contributes to fish mortality rates. Algae may shade the water, absorb oxygen and give off carbon dioxide, certainly all potential issues for the fish.
Historically, fish hatchery operators have used aerators, endless skimming, introduced peroxides, bacteria and binders to resolve some of the issues that algae causes. Our ultrasonic algae management systems are installed in as little as 10 minutes, they use minimal power and have very minimal upkeep.
