2B-Technologies - Air Quality Sensors (AQ)
Over the past few years there has been an enormous surge in interest in the application of low-cost sensors to measurements of air pollutants by educators, citizen scientists and members of various groups interested in air pollution levels in their own communities. This interest has stemmed from a combination of factors that include: development and marketing of low-cost electrochemical sensors for gas-phase species; 2) application of low-cost optical particle counters (OPCs), originally developed for monitoring of HVAC systems, to measurements of ambient particle density and inferred mass concentrations; 3) introduction of the hobbyist microcontroller circuit boards such as the Arduino board; and 4) recent advances in mobile phone app technology that provides for easy display and mapping of data.
2B-Technologies - Personal Air Monitor (PAM)
The Personal Air Monitor or PAM was originally developed for our AQTreks K-12 educational outreach program and is now used in a wide range of other applications such as monitoring of smoke by the National Forest Service during forest fires, vertical profiling of air pollutants using quadcopters and hyperlocal mapping of air pollutants along streets of cities. The PAM was designed to measure only the air pollutants for which sensors are highly reliable, which includes particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
AQLite - Air Monitoring Packages System
The AQLite Monitoring Packages are the ultimate combination of performance and size for an air quality measurement system. These packages combine our US EPA approved Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) Model 108-L Ozone Monitor with proven sensor technology for other pollutants in a customizable package that can be deployed in a wide variety of air monitoring applications.
